It is a great privilege for me to be Principal of a college which has such a strong association with academic achievement and success.

At Hockerill we offer a distinctive high quality education with a strong international dimension to students from the United Kingdom, EU member countries and beyond. Our day places are free with the tuition fees being paid by the Government. Our high quality full boarding education...

Admissions

Hockerill Anglo-European College has two main admission years to the College. These are at Year 7 (the start of a student’s secondary education at age 11) and Year 12 (entry into the sixth form at age 16).

Curriculum

Hockerill Anglo-European College offers an academic curriculum based on the International Baccalaureate’s Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. Students can take GCSE examinations from as early as Year 9 (Languages) with other early entries (Music, Maths) being taken in Year 10 and the majority in Year 11.

Boarding

We are one of the UK’s largest maintained boarding schools and offer exceptional value for UK and EU passport holders or those enjoying UK right of residence. The government pays tuition costs for students meeting these conditions – meaning expenses are effectively a third of those charged for similar services...

Alumni

Welcome to everybody who has joined the Hockerill Alumni. I sincerely hope it will be a long and successful organisation. I have formed a committee from volunteers and to date we have had three meetings. During the last meeting we took a vote on a name for us and Friends of Hockerill was the most popular.
