At Hockerill we offer a distinctive high quality education with a strong international dimension to students from the United Kingdom, EU member countries and beyond.

Our day places are free with the tuition fees being paid by the Government. Our high quality full boarding education costs around one third that of independent schools.

We offer a full range of subjects to GCSE level and are the only maintained boarding school in the country offering the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma. The Daily Telegraph has described us as "the model of a modern european school", and OFSTED as "an exceptional college" offering "excellent" educational provision.

On 2 February 2005 Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools listed Hockerill as one of the most successful schools in England in his annual report.

In August 2006 and August 2007 we topped the Times Newspaper's table of top performing schools post-16. In 2007 Hockerill was judged as outstanding in all areas in its OFSTED inspection report.
